Why Engineering the Process Changes Everything
When leadership shifts from control to cultivating GRACE
There is a subtle yet profound shift in leadership practice that is possible few organisations openly discuss.

When we focus on a specific task we are competent at, our identity stays anchored in being the one who knows. We see ourselves as valuable because of the narratives we have developed through our workplace experiences.
Our expertise, our knowledge, and our ability to intervene define our value. It’s our "identity hook", which is the core, internal story or belief system that defines how we view ourselves, our worth and our safety in both the workplace and the wider world.
It is a reactive tendency where we often unconsciously choose to “play not to lose” rather than “play to win.”
